Rugged Android tablets : SolidPads LX6A & LR6A

SolidPads with Android have been especially developed for the outdoor mobility. The R&D-engineers have given a significant importance in equipping the capacitive multitouch-display of a shockproof Gorilla-Glass. They also make sure to offer a satisfying level of brightness with a solution proposing up to 600 cd/m2.

Tablets are also protected against dust and water (Protection rate: IP65) and can be used in any harsh environments.

SolidPads LX6A and LR6A are embedded in a bespoke rugged plastic case rather than an aluminium one. They can enjoy the optimal weight of 0,57 kg and 1,1 kg and are very comfortable to hand carry.

Because of their elegant design and their 12 hours battery runtime, they are the perfect solution for business trips.

In the standard version, the models are supplied with a NVIDIA® TEGRA 2 1.0GHz Dual Core Processor, 1 GB DDR2 RAM, 16GB SATA SSD and two cameras (1,2 and 5 MPixel).

The package is completed with an Android v4.0 operating system, WLAN 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR, GPS, E-compass, light sensor, G-sensor. The external interfaces are power supply (DC-In), 1x mini USB, 1x mini HDMI, 1x Micro SD card slot, 1x SIM card slot, 1x 3.5 mm stereo jack.

Project-specific solutions may be customised with manageable upgrade and options (e.g. 3G modem module) and accessories.
